Anne's Friend

During Anne’s second semester of her freshman year of college she started attending Eastbrook Church in Milwaukee. She became active in Eastbrook’s College Age group. Danielle eventually was put in charge of the College Age Ministry. Danielle has always been a wonderful friend and mentor to Anne. She always has been there for Anne during good and bad times offering wonderful God centered advice!

Dan McCoy
Best Man
Matt's Friend

Matt and Dan met at Purdue in the Fraternity, Alpha Chi Rho. Matt distinctly remembers seeing Dan for the first time and thinking, “There is a guy I have to get to know!” Since then Matt and Dan have been as close as brothers.

Missy Stiemsma
Anne's Friend

Anne and Missy met while slaving over architecture projects at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Missy’s outgoing and sweet character drew Anne to her right away. Soon they learned that they shared something in common….they are both Christians. Eventually Missy and Anne became roommates, and grew even closer as a sister in Christ. Though they don’t get to see each other often anymore, they stay keep in contact by email and cell phones. Missy’s joyful personality and Godly insight have always been an encouragement to Anne.

Brian Jenner
Matt's Friend

Just like Dan, Matt met Brian at the frat while at Purdue. They met while singing Weezer's "The Butterfly Song" together. They have been friends since. Brian was Matt’s big brother in the frat, funny that Matt is actually a bit older than Brian. Matt and Brian have many hilarious stories about frat life. While at Purdue they developed a strong friendship that still keeps them close today.

Anna Spaanem
Matt's Sister

Anna is Matt’s older Sister. She has made a huge impact on who Matt is today. When they were little she would make him wear a leotard, and do ballet with her. She has always been there to encourage and be supportive of Matt in everything he has done. Despite the confusion with their names, Anne is looking forward to getting to know her new sister-in-law better in the many years to come.

Steve Christianson
Anne's Brother

Steve is Anne’s little brother, though he isn’t so little anymore. Gone are the days of Anne beating up her little brother. Now he just laughs at her if she tries. Anne has watched Steve grow to become a wise and Godly man. Besides Matt and her Dad, Steve is ranked as one of the most important men in her life. Steve and Matt have only met a few times, but have hit it off pretty well. Matt is looking forward to getting to know his new brother-in-law better in the many years to come.
